Belt Driven Actuator Options

N/A LoPro belt drives are ideal for long lengths and high speeds. Belt drives feature AT style reinforced polyurethane belting. Belt drive systems may be mounted to either steel or aluminum support beams, and come with your choice of wiper wheel plate or basic wheel plate. Corrosion resistant versions are available, as are multiple wheel plates.

Wheel Plate Options

N/A There are two choices for wheel plate assemblies - wiper wheel plates and basic wheel plates. Wiper wheel plates are available with your choice of DualVee guide wheels and provide the lowest height solution. Basic wheel plates are the more economical choice and come with Integral DualVee wheels and your choice of either lubricators or wheel covers. Both the wiper wheel plate and the basic wheel plate are intended to run on track plate assemblies.

Track Plate Assemblies

N/A Track plate assemblies combine your choice of single edge DualVee track with an easy to mount aluminum base. The aluminum base is made from high precision anodized aluminum alloy. Track plate assemblies are easily butt-jointed to provide infinite lengths.

Support Beam Options

N/A Support beams are available in extruded aluminum or steel beam. The extruded aluminum beam comes with T slots for quick and easy mounting of brackets and other aluminum framing members. Steel support beams are made to ASTM A500 Grade A standards and provide a high modulus, making them a rigid mounting option.

N/A Our new line of motor mounts is designed to fit any manufacturer's motor or gearbox. Each motor mount is supplied as a kit, complete with shaft coupling and mounting hardware. Standard or custom mounting solutions can be provided within five days.

Gantry Brackets

N/A A wide variety of gantry brackets are available to form complete LoPro gantry systems. The gantry bracket allows numerous gantry configurations to be built by offering flexibility in the types of LoPro systems that can be assembled together and in the relative positions and orientations of the stages to each other in the assembly. Procedures for creating the most common stage configurations for gantry systems can be found in the LoPro Gantry System Assembly Manual.

  • If the customer plate will be subjected to shock loads, divide the permissible linear force by a safety factor of 1.4 (light shock) to 2 (high shock). V = Linear Speed.
  • The belt teeth shear strength is the permissible linear force which the drive pulley can apply to the carriage. The sum of the linear force applied to the carriage and the belt pretension load must not exceed the working tensile load.
  • Un-mounted systems are designed for mounting to a customer-supplied mounting surface. System straightness and flatness are determined by mounting surface accuracy. Continuous support along the entire track plate length and under drive end mounting surfaces is required.
  • In System Inertia J(A+B+C) for B, TL (Travel Length) must be in mm for metric calculation, inches for English calculation.
  • In System Inertia J (A + B + C) for C, M (Mass of payload on the carriage) must be in kg for metric calculation, lbm for English calculation.
  • Right hand version shown. Dual shaft, left hand, and corrosion resistant versions are also available.
  • For secondary wheel plate assembly, consult factory.
  • Weights shown are for wheel plates with wheel covers and without coupling kits. Basic wheel plates with track lubricators weigh slightly less.
  • Aluminum beams are 6061-T6 aluminum alloy. Steel beams are structural steel tubing ASTM A500 Grade A.

  • Maximum Length of Steel Support Beam Sizes 3 & 4 - up to 48 ft lengths stock. Longer lengths available upon request.
